Coverage
Seven parts of Essex, covered properly
We work across the whole county. These are the seven areas where we go deep, because in each one something specific decides how a moving day runs.

Coordination
The towns we deliberately do not duplicate
Chelmsford, Colchester, Brentwood, Braintree, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea all have dedicated local pages on our sister site, essexremovalsuk.com.
We work in every one of those towns and will quote for a move there without hesitation. What we will not do is publish a thinner version of a page that already exists, purely to compete for the same search. That helps nobody — least of all you, arriving on whichever of the two pages happened to rank.
So if your move starts or ends in one of those six, ask us anyway. If their local knowledge serves you better, we will say so.
Everywhere else
Rural and village access
A large part of this county is reached down a lane rather than a road, particularly in the north and around the Blackwater. Single track with passing places, hedges to the edge, weight limits on bridges, and drives that soften after a wet week.
Where a large vehicle genuinely cannot reach an address we run a shuttle — a smaller van working between the house and a staging point where the main vehicle can stand. It is a normal part of working in Essex, not an exception, and it is quoted openly at the survey.
We also check weight and width restrictions on the route rather than assuming the satnav has. A lorry turned back at a limit ten miles out costs everybody a day.

Wherever you are in the county
Tell us the address and we will tell you honestly what the access allows — including if it means a shuttle, an early start, or working around a tide.
